About Us

ICAPHE, the International Council for Accreditation and Advancement of Public Health Education, was established as the only accreditation agency devoted solely to improving public health education at a global level through rigorous processes, international peer review, and community support. In collaboration with educational institutions, practice partners, communities and governments, ICAPHE promotes best practices and supports educators and students throughout the world. Established to improve educational quality, it provides valuable resources in a collegial environment. Based in Norway, with shared leadership from all regions of the world, ICAPHE is committed to co-equal, representative governance, transparency, ethics, equity, sound science and impact. We are a trusted partner in advancing public health education worldwide.
